I know I’ve only been working out for about a week or so, but it really sucks that it takes a while for the progress to show. it’s me and my boyfriend’s 19 month anni, and we’re going out to dinner tonight. I really wanted to wear a shirt I bought a LOOOOONG time ago but it’s still not fitting properly. Or a dress or something really nice but it makes me feel discouraged. However, I will not be defeated by those inanimate objects. I will use it as motivation to get me working harder at reaching my goal.
I want this. && I will get it.
slowly, but surely.
So the boyfraaan and I went to the gym today annnd of course, we got our assess kicked. I mean, this was our first time going on MONTHS. We’ve picked up some bad habits since we haven’t been going i.e.: eating junk foods more often, hookah, drinking (since we both are 21 now), and just being plain lazy. It was really sad to see both of us struggling on those treadmills. We barely finished a mile! I used to be fit and pretty legit at running. There’s no one to blame but ourselves for what we’ve done to our bodies.
But, now it’s time to break the habit, and DO WORK. Gotta step up our game, and keep each other motivated. We’ve done an official weigh in this afternoon and we are going to weigh ourselves every week to see if we are making good progress. We’ve also decided to change our eating habits; no more junk food, watching our portions and just eating healthy. It’s a choice we both decided to make, and we will reach our goals of being a lot more fit than what we once were.
